MICCAI 2020 Daily - Wednesday

2 Jaime's Picks For Today, Wednesday 7 th Jaime Tierney is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Vanderbilt University’s Data Science Institute in Nashville, TN, USA. She is a member of the biomedical elasticity and acoustic measurement (BEAM) lab, the biomedical modeling lab (BML), and Vanderbilt’s Institute for Surgery and Engineering (VISE). “My research broadly focuses on improving clinical ultrasound imaging. For my PhD, I worked on developing ultrasound blood flow imaging techniques for better evaluation of interventional radiology tasks. As a postdoc, I am working on developing deep neural network beamformers to improve ultrasound anatomical B-mode image quality.” “In my spare time, I love to do yoga and spend time with my husband and new puppy.” Julia's Picks of the day: • Generative Adversarial Networks A: GANDALF: Generative Adversarial Networks with Discriminator-Adaptive Loss Fine-tuning for Alzheimer's Disease Diagnosis from MRI • Ultrasound Imaging B: Directing Ultrasound Probe Placement for Image Guided Prostate Radiotherapy • Generative Adversarial Networks B: Graded Image Generation Using Stratified CycleGAN • Cardiac Imaging and Modelling: ICA-UNet: ICA Inspired Statistical UNet for Real-time 3D Cardiac Cine MRI Segmentation • Generative Adversarial Networks B: Interpretation of Disease Evidence for Medical Images Using Adversarial Deformation Fields • Cardiac Imaging and Modelling: A Semi-supervised Joint Network for Simultaneous Left Ventricular Motion Tracking and Segmentation in 4D Echocardiography Jaime should have mentioned her own presentation! Don't miss Domain Adaptation for Ultrasound Beamforming today today (Wednesday) at 16:30 UTC! DAILY Wednesday “This is my first time attending MICCAI, and although I’m bummed about not being able to travel and meet people in person, I am also excited to take advantage of the online platform to listen to as many talks and view as many posters as possible!”
