MICCAI 2020 Daily - Tuesday

2 Julia's Picks For Today, Tuesday 6 th Julia Wolleb is a PhD student at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Basel, where she’s a group member of the Center for medical Image Analysis & Navigation (CIAN). “My PhD project tackles the problem of anomaly detection and localization in medical images. With my background in pure mathematics, I like the real- world applications my work now has. This is my first conference and it is a bit sad that we all miss the opportunity to meet and chat with new people in person (not to mention a trip to Peru…). But I am very curious about all the presentations on exciting projects and hope to meet you there!” Julia's Picks of the day: • Unsupervised Graph Domain Adaptation for Neurodevelopmental Disorders Diagnosis • Constrain Latent Space for Schizophrenia Classification via Dual Space Mapping Net • Modelling the Distribution of 3D Brain MRI using a 2D Slice VAE • Deep Disentangled Hashing with Momentum Triplets for Neuroimage Search • Encoding Visual Attributes in Capsules for Explainable Medical Diagnoses • Domain aware medical image classifier interpretation by counterfactual impact analysis Julia forgot to mention her own presentation! She is presenting DeScarGAN: Disease-Specific Anomaly Detection with Weak Supervision today (Tuesday) at 15:30 UTC. Don't miss it! DAILY Tu e s d a y
