ISBI Daily - Friday

ISBI DAILY Friday 13 Ke Yan Sample slice scores generated by the unsupervised body part regressor on different CT slices. The scores increase monotonically from head to leg. In terms of next steps, Ke says their focus will be on using the results of this work in many other applications. They are already using the method for another paper looking at training an algorithm for lesion retrieval; for example, finding a pancreas lesion in the database. The method can also be used as a feature to train other computer-aided diagnosis algorithms. To learn more about this work, you can attend Ke’s oral session today at 14:30-14:45 in the Empire Room. You can also read Ke’s paper on his lab’s Github page .
